New York has always been very high on my list places to visit. But as the years went by I started to doubt whether I could actually get there. It finally happened this spring and I have to say, I was not disappointed! New York has so much to offer in terms of culture, cuisine and many, many others. It felt really wonderful to take the stroll through the streets of New York, to discover myself the places I have known from pictures and movies and to encounter many more that I have never heard before. Lets take this walk in New York again!
Some of the iconic views over Central Park
The real heaven for the photographer, the two bridges area, the Manhattan bridge
And the Brooklyn Bridge
This is probably one of the most often photographed views in New York
The One World Trade Center towers over Manhattan again
One of my personal favorites, the Public Library next to the Bryant Park
A closer look at the beautiful ceiling
Beautiful weather and the Bryant Park was full of people, so were the cafes around it
A truly beautiful mess ;-) The news spread very quickly on Time Square, you are practically bombed from each and every corner. At least I got to know who won this years French Open in tennis, minutes after it ended
Some of the symbols of New York
Chelsea Market with some of its chocolate goods
A visit to one of the Broadway shows was without a doubt the highlight of my trip. It was hard to choose, but I decided to see The King Kong. The show was magnificent!
September 11, the memories
The Soho-Cast Iron Historic District
Soon the cafe will be again replaced by the famous ice rink, the Rockefeller Center
The rainy West Village
When the old meets the new, the very beautiful Saint's Patrick's Cathedral, just in the heart of New York
Just a tourist with a camera in New York...
The interiors of the Metropolitan Museum of Art
I wonder, which of the three last photos you find the most iconic?
Yes, I fully agree, because the Central Park squirrels are the real superstars! ;-)
