Because polish plums are best! Delicious plum - chocolate tart

Hello everybody!

A very simple but great recipe for a plum - chocolate tart! I have to admit I am an all time fan of plums. I simply could eat them all year long. :-) Polish plums are absolutely delicious and I totally miss them here in Sweden. I recommend everybody to try them while i Poland, especially in September. This tarte is the combination of three major ingredients plums, famous polish plum butter and dark chocolate, which makes it a bit more special. Try it yourself, and I am sure you will not be disappointed! :-)

250 g flour

100 g of butter (baking margarine)

1 egg

60 g icing sugar

1/2 tea spoon of cinnamon (can be omitted)

1 table spoon of cream (15 or 18%)

2-3 table spoons of plum butter/plum jam is also ok

50 g dark chocolate

50 g milk chocolate

1 kg plums

100 g flour

45 g white sugar

50 g butter (baking margarine)

Mix all the ingredients using food processor. You can of also work the dough manually. In this case mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, egg and cream together before blending in butter/margarine with your fingers. Place the dough into plastic wrap and let it cool down in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Roll the pre - cooled dough into the baking form/tart tin (28 cm) and cover it with a baking paper. Then place approximately two cups of baking beans or normal beans on top of the paper. This will prevent your tart rising while being baked. Pre-bake the dough for 12-15 minutes in 200 °C. Let the tart cool down for a coupe of minutes before spreading plum butter on its surface. Then add grated chocolate flakes and place plums (cut into halves) on top. As the final touch cover plums with the prepared crumble topping. Bake the tart in 180 °C. for approximately 30 minutes or until you see the crumble getting golden its touch. Let the tart cool down for a couple of minutes. Bon apetit!
